Harold Manifolds BT7
A Work in Progress
I was looking for a car for my daughter and stumbled across this Healey for sale in Sechelt. I had always wanted a Big Healey and was interested in a restoration project as I entered the empty nester phase.
What has been an unexpected pleasure is all of the great people I have met along the restoration road. First was Ivan Lessner who purchased the NOS Fiberglas rear fenders for his race car, next was Ron Mohr who helped me with the transmission and supplied a few body parts, and then there is Terry Firestein who brilliantly did all of the metal work on the chassis including a making a complete frame rail from scratch. Lastly there is the great people in the AHOABC who have been a wealth of good advise and suggestions.
The chassis should be finished paint by January 2018 and then I will reassemble the car and reclaim my basement. All of the body parts are period correct and to the best of my knowledge none are reproduction
